ICA Council On Upper Cervical Care Memberships

Any doctor of chiropractic or student interested in upper cervical care may become a member of the Council.  You are not required to be members of the International Chiropractors Association.

Dues for Doctors of Chiropractic are assessed annually from January 1st to December 31st.  When a doctor joins for the first time, you will be charged for the full year.   Membership renewal notices are sent one month before renewal in January and all memberships are automatically renewed unless notice is given.

For students there is one payment of $100 which covers membership in the Council until their date of graduation.

As far as I am concerned, CUCC is the organization you join because you want to invest in your profession. It is as simple as that. It is not the place you join for personal gain, but rather it is the place you give back to because you care about upper cervical chiropractic.

Let’s be honest, the only reason the CUCC exists to preserve, protect, and develop upper cervical chiropractors and the procedures they use in their clinics. The CUCC exists for YOU. Therefore, investing in the CUCC is an investment in your specific professional field.
You can read some of the updates and future plans of the CUCC in our most recent newsletter, The Atlas Connection, HERE. Additionally, here are some important updates and announcements from our Treasurer Dr. Jared Kohler, regarding the positive impact your membership has on the CUCC:

Jared Kohler BSc, DC, DCCJP, BCAO

The Diplomate in Chiropractic Craniocervical Junction Procedures (DCCJP) is our flagship program and one of our primary strategic objectives moving forward. Thanks to CUCC membership and involvement, we as a profession now have 42 upper cervical diplomates across the US & Canada.  Enrolment has doubled since the start of the program in 2013 and there are currently 35 passionate doctors working to receive their Diplomate status in June of 2021.

We have invested in a full-length, professionally produced documentary that highlights the advancements in UC chiropractic promotes the UC-council and provides students and doctors an opportunity to hear the diplomates' personal insights and patient success stories. Get ready for the world premiere of this impactful documentary in the first quarter of 2020. CLICK HERE

The Council continues its mission to promote upper cervical procedures not only within the profession but also outside of the profession to other like-minded health care professionals. To this end, the Public Relations committee has allocated funds for the Council to have a presence at chiropractic and interprofessional conferences throughout the year. “

As you can see, your membership dollars are very hard at work for the benefit of upper cervical chiropractic and your ability to impact YOUR patients’ lives in a positive manner. If you are not yet a CUCC member, now is the best time to join! Here is a word on how this process works from our Membership Chair, Dr. Rachae Bell:

Dr. Rachae Bell DC, DCCJP

The Council on Upper Cervical Care's membership is at its highest since inception. Our momentum is snowballing and your membership is critical to our continued success and growth. Thank you to all of our members!!!  We greatly appreciate your support and we will continue working to create more membership benefits as we progress.
After 10 years of growth and advancements, we are implementing the first increase in CUCC membership yearly dues.  Membership dues starting January 1st of 2020 will be $286/year. There was a glitch in statements that have been sent out from the ICA; if you were subject to that glitch, we are sorry for any inconvenience!  We will remedy that as best we can to reflect the new dues schedule.  Membership renewals after many years are FINALLY on AUTORENEWAL.  This means you can set it and forget it! If you would like to be sure you are on autorenewal, follow this link

Please contact me directly at 509-994-5515 if you have questions or concerns.
A few small perks to membership include, but are not limited to; your listing on our CUCC website, access to our CUCC private FB group, access to The Atlas Connection to stay tuned to all things UC, Updates on upcoming conferences.

Again, thank you for your ongoing support and membership.
Onward and upward!
